Wanted Turtle Creek woman arrested on 6 warrants

A wanted Turtle Creek woman has been arrested on six outstanding bench warrants.

The Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office says Nyzjayah Majors, 24, was located and arrested at an apartment in the 1100 block of Bower Hill Road.

The department says Majors had been a fugitive since early July, when five bench warrants were issued for probation violations involving cases in which she pleaded guilty to robbery or conspiracy charges. A sixth bench warrant was issued in August when she failed to appear for trial on firearms charges.

Detectives developed information that Majors was located inside the Bower Hill Road apartment. After confirming she was inside, detectives entered the residence and arrested her without incident.

Two other men and one woman were also in the apartment at the time of Majors’ arrest. One of the men, Jordan Johnson, was found to have an active detainer from the Pennsylvania State Parole Department. Authorities arrested Johnson and officers transported both him and Majors to the Allegheny County Jail.
