Washington County women scammed out of $1K by someone posing as Steelers rookie Eli Heidenreich

Two Washington County women were scammed out of $1,000 by someone posing as Pittsburgh Steelers rookie and Pittsburgh-area native Eli Heidenreich.

State police said that the two victims, a 20-year-old and a 50-year-old from Avella, were scammed out of the money through various financial transactions.

No suspects in this incident have been identified.
