Washington man charged for allegedly threatening to kill judge

WASHINGTON, Pa. — A man is facing charges for allegedly threatening to kill a Washington County judge.

According to a news release, Gerald Gregg, 57, is charged with retaliation against a judicial officer and terroristic charges.

Gregg allegedly threatened to kill President Judge John DiSalle.

The release said police were advised to be on the lookout for a black Jeep being driven by a male who was at the courthouse threatening to kill a judge.

Officers stopped the vehicle in the parking lot of a GetGo and made contact with the driver, who was identified as Gregg.

Court document say Gregg told police “they tried to execute me 20 years ago,” and said he had an expired license.

Gregg’s license was also found to be suspended. He admitted to police he was driving around the courthouse, according to court documents.

Gregg is now in custody.
