WASHINGTON, Pa. — Sunday’s rain didn’t stop a pop-up vendor gathering in Washington County.
The inaugural Washington Fall Fest was put together after rain washed out both the Covered Bridge Festival and the Houston Pumpkin Festival.
Vendors said they still had a lot of product to sell off, and it was a chance for people to start holiday shopping early.
“We get it out there, and we give the opportunity for people to start their Christmas shopping early, or if you need a gift for a teacher, whatever,” said Donna Salvo, owner of Pastor Bob’s Grillin’ Magic.
Around 30 vendors were expected to attend, along with food trucks.
It remains to be seen if the gathering will become an annual event.
