Water main break floods homes, roadway in Baldwin

BALDWIN, Pa. — A water main break Saturday morning flooded part of Baldwin Borough.

According to Baldwin Fire Rescue, crews were alerted around 6 a.m. about a large water main break near Ranchview and Colewood drives.

Water was reportedly flooding into multiple homes. The department shared photos on social media showing water pooling in the road, driveways and yards.

Baldwin requested more fire companies to help dam and pump the water until Pennsylvania American Water could halt the flow.

Firefighters from Baldwin were on scene for about four hours.

PAW’s website confirms crews are making emergency repairs in the area. The estimated completion time is 7 p.m.
