UPPER SAINT CLAIR, Pa. — An estimated 75 Pennsylvania American Water Company customers were without service Tuesday evening because of a water main break along Route 19 in Upper St. Clair.
Crews said affected customers will experience low water pressure until the 12-inch water main in the area of the break near the high school and municipal building.

There were no reports of any homes or businesses damaged in the break that occurred around 4 p.m., water company spokeswoman Josephine Posti told Channel 11's news partners at TribLIVE. Most of the water rushed down the hillside and into a culvert, she said.
Water service was restored at about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.
