PITTSBURGH — We’ll get a brief break in the rainy pattern for most of the day Thursday, but another quick-moving system will bring showers and the chance for a few storms after sunset. Any rain that develops will be moving out before sunrise Friday.

Right now, the severe weather threat is low, but any storms that develop could bring brief heavy downpours and gusty winds.

Friday will be the pick of the weather week with plenty of sunshine, comfortable temperatures and lower humidity.

The weekend looks great too but gear up for the return of summerlike heat by Sunday.
