WILMERDING, Pa. — Westinghouse Arts Academy in Wilmerding was evacuated after an anonymous bomb threat Tuesday afternoon.
According to Chief Executive Officer at Westinghouse Arts Academy Richard Fosbrink, the threat was called in to the school at 11:30 a.m.
“With our security protocols in place and local authorities contacted, we quickly reacted as planned to this sudden emergency. Our main priority is the safety of our students, teachers, and staff,” Fosbrink said.
Students were let back into the building at around 1:30 p.m., a representative from the school said.
