SOUTH GRENNSBURG, Pa. — The Westmoreland County District Attorney is renewing the call for information in a teen girl’s disappearance.
Teresa “Teri” Rhodes was last seen in South Greensburg on Sept. 27, 1975.
Rhodes, a 13-year-old eighth grader at St. Paul’s Middle School at the time of her disappearance, was babysitting with a friend that night.
According to information shared on Wednesday, police believe Rhodes stopped at a house party on her way home. It was the last place anyone saw her alive.
A slew of investigators have worked to find Rhodes, or the person responsible for her disappearance.
Work by South Greensburg, Greensburg City, Pennsylvania State Police, and Westmoreland County Detectives has uncovered several persons of interest over the years, but not enough evidence has been brought forward to result in charges or an arrest.
Those agencies have searched and held digs at parks in Greensburg and Pittsburgh. Those all turned up empty.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call the Westmoreland County Detectives at 724-830-3287. Anyone who would like to submit information online can do so by scanning the QR code below.
