GREENSBURG, Pa. — A Westmoreland County man who pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a child has been sentenced.
Matthew Buchinsky, 40, of Derry Township, was sentenced to serve 15 to 30 years in state prison. He must also register under Megan’s Law for the remainder of his life.
Authorities said Buchinsky assaulted a child who was 10 years old in 2013 in Unity Township.
Charges were filed in October last year.
Westmoreland County District Attorney Jim Lazar prosecuted the case.
