CHARTIERS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A woman and her son luckily weren’t injured Sunday night when their car crashed into several deer in Washington County.

Tina Colletti and her son were driving along Henderson Avenue in Chartiers Township to a Super Bowl party when she said almost a dozen deer jumped across the road.

“Before she knew it, all these deer jumped off the side of the road past the car and she clipped four or five of them,” Colletti’s husband, Steve Colletti, said.

“She just said they were skipping across the front of the car. My son Josh said it was like a video game hitting deer,” Steve Colletti said.

The deer came from a wooded area, and Colletti said because of the weather she was fortunately driving slow enough to avoid major damage.

No deer were killed and Tina and her son weren’t injured.

“She has never hit a deer, so I guess there’s always a first,” Steve Colletti said.
