PITTSBURGH — A woman was injured when shots were fired in Pittsburgh late Saturday night.
Pittsburgh Police officials say officers responded to two separate ShotSpotter alerts indicating six rounds fired just after 10 p.m. at the intersection of Cross and Strauss streets.
The official says not long later, two women showed up at the police station, one of whom had an injury to the forehead that may be a graze wound. Medics took her to a hospital in stable condition.
A man was arrested in the area of Cross and Strauss streets, and a rifle was recovered, police say.
Police took the man to the Allegheny County Jail, but it wasn’t immediately clear what charges he could face.
