Woman rescued from Mount Lebanon house fire

MOUNT LEBANON, Pa. — A woman was rescued from a house fire Sunday in Mount Lebanon.

Officials said the blaze started at a house on Broadmoor Avenue around 10:30 a.m.

The woman, whose name and condition have not been released, was taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital for treatment.

According to fire officials, a cat died in the blaze.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
