PITTSBURGH — After a Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority crew damaged her yard in the city’s Hazelwood neighborhood months ago, Melissa Fisher Vasquez told Channel 11 Friday that she’s still waiting for repairs to be completed.

“They destroyed all my grass, messed up my fence, broke my tree and they told me they'd be back to fix it all,” she said.

Vasquez said it was January when the crew was doing sewer work when the damaged was done.

Since then she’s made numerous calls to the city with no results.

“No one answers my calls. No one returns my calls,” she said.

A spokesperson for the PSWA told Channel 11 that they will again plant new grass seed for her, but since the fence was on a public right of way, they are not responsible for replacing it.

Vasquez said workers did repair her driveway.
