DANVILLE, Pa. — A woman who kidnapped a baby from Magee-Womens Hospital in 2012 died Thursday at a Danville, Montour County, hospital.
Channel 11's news exchange partners at the Tribune-Review have learned that Breona Moore, 22, died of natural causes at Geisinger Medical Center.
Moore dressed as a nurse when she took a 3-day-old infant from a hospital room, then hid the baby in her purse as she left the hospital. She was later found with the unharmed baby in downtown Pittsburgh.
In June, Moore was sentenced to 30 to 60 months in prison and 10 years of probation after she pleaded guilty to kidnapping.
