LONDON — Two British teenage girls have sparked outrage after they dressed up as the Twin Towers for Halloween.
According to NBC News, Amber Langford and Annie Collinge, both 19-year-old students at the University of Chester, donned matching costumes labeled North Tower and South Tower.
The costumes included explosions, planes, and people jumping out of the buildings. Their disturbing hats were topped off with American flags, according to NBC News.
NBC News reported, the teens apologized "if any offense was caused.
