An audience member was recording the event when the principal took to the lecturn in frustration.  She says she was reacting to an unknown man who interrupted a student's speech to take pictures and then refused to sit down.  When she called for security to remove him, the audience began booing and causing further disruption, during which time she said "look at all the black people leaving."

The directors of the private TNT Academy fired the principal shortly after the video went viral. The school specializes in teaching public school students who have previously failed a class at their regular school.
