EDINBURGH, Scotland — The audience at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland saw more than magic tricks when London magician Neil Henry took the stage.
His next trick was a marriage proposal.
Henry appears to swallow a piece of string and then a wine glass full of alphabet soup.

Like many magicians, he then selects someone from the audience to help him -- and chooses his girlfriend, Charlie Gardner.
She comes up on stage and that's when the magic happens, as Neil pulls out the string with the letters mounted on it to read: MARRY ME.
She says yes and the crowd cheers wildly!
Afterwards, Neil thanked the audience for sharing the most important moment in his life and said he's set up a bar tab and everyone gets a free drink, just before the song "Celebration" played over the sound system.
