Man arrested after wrong-way crash on Route 28

PITTSBURGH — A man was arrested after driving a vehicle the wrong way on Route 28, crashing into another vehicle.

The accident took place around 5:25 a.m. southbound on Route 28.

According to a City of Pittsburgh official, Jacob Kresloff was driving the wrong-way vehicle. He collided with another vehicle which was occupied by two people.

The male driver of the wrong-way vehicle was arrested for driving under the influence and aggravated assault.

Paramedics extradited a male front seat passenger to Allegheny General Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition.
