WASHINGTON, Pa. (AP) — A western Pennsylvania coroner says a man found in a window well between two buildings over the weekend apparently fell 17 feet from a walkway.

The Washington County coroner's office says the body of 57-year-old John Halliwell was found at about 8 a.m. Saturday in the city of Washington.

Coroner S. Timothy Warco said Halliwell was pronounced dead about 45 minutes later, but it's unclear when he fell.

Warco said police in the city are investigating, but the death doesn't appear suspicious. A ruling on the cause and manner of death is pending further investigation.
