NORTH HUNTINGDON, Pa.,None — A 16-year-old girl is recovering after jumping out of a moving vehicle being driven by her 20-year-old husband in North Huntingdon.
Police said Andrew Magill and his wife, both of Arona, were arguing as they drove down the road on Tuesday. Police said the wife tried several times to jump from the moving vehicle, but Magill was able to hold her back.
However, as the couple was approaching Center Highway and Buttermilk Hollow Road, police said, the girl was able to jump out of the moving car, hitting her head.
Police said the victim was taken to a local hospital. Her name and condition haven't been released.
Magill was charged with driving under the influence, police said.
