SOUTH STRABANE TOWNSHIP, Pa.,None — A local marine was extradited back to Washington County this week after police said he raped and sexually assaulted a now 13-year-old girl.
Investigators said the abuse started when the victim was 3 years old Thomas Edward King confessed to his crimes, according to police. He was arrested at a Marine base in Texas.
The District Attorney and police in South Strabane Township said they began investigating after the girl told her parents about the abuse.

Detectives said they believe the abuse happened in Washington County and lasted for seven years.
