WHAT: The 6th annual Pittsburgh Muscle Team
This high-energy event will pair Pittsburgh's top athletes with an MDA Buddy (a local child living with a neuromuscular disease) for a night of interactive entertainment, live and silent auctions and a variety of food and beverage stations. Participants can meet and greet athletes, coaches, MDA Buddies, celebrities and business executives while raising money towards the fight against muscle-wasting diseases for MDA.
The Association will also honor President of Allegheny County Labor Council AFL-CIO Jack Shea with the 2010 Guy Buzzelli, Jr. Champion of Spirit Award. This annual honor is given to high-achieving individuals who help further MDA's mission to find a cure. WHERE: Heinz Field

VIP reception starts at 5:30 p.m.
Main Event starts at 7 p.m.
WHY: Funds raised at the annual event will directly benefit local families in the Pittsburgh area served by MDA. Last year, the event raised over $200,000 for people affected by neuromuscular diseases. For more information, visit the Web site.
