WASHINGTON, Pa.,None — Let the table games begin. Meadows Racetrack and Casino officials started training potential blackjack dealers on Tuesday.
A total of 680 candidates took part in the table games school.
The director of the training school, Mike Poole, said the learning process is spread out.
"They llearn the whole game in four weeks, and then they have another four weeks to come in and practice everything they've learned in the first four weeks," Poole said. "So far, until the end of the fourth week, every day we teach them something new, something to add to the game."
On Tuesday, the students worked on shuffling cards and cutting decks.
The Meadows plans to add 65 table games by fall.
