MEADVILLE, Pa.,None — Police said a Meadville woman who once claimed Michael Jordan fathered her son has been jailed in Detroit after trying to flee Pennsylvania.
The Erie Times-News reports that 39-year-old Lisa Miceli was arrested Wednesday at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport, where she was waiting to catch a flight to Amsterdam.
A warrant was issued for Miceli's arrest after she failed to show up for a bond hearing in Crawford County Court.
Miceli was put on probation in February for harassing Meadville police. She made more phone calls to police in May despite a court order prohibiting such calls.
Miceli made national headlines in 2008, when Michael Jordan's attorneys filed a lawsuit against her. Miceli claimed that Jordan fathered her son, despite two paternity DNA tests to the contrary.
