Marilou Dailey and her family woke up at 6:15 a.m. Thursday to see a bear sitting in their yard, eating out of their bird feeders.
"When I saw him, it kind of took me by surprise. You are expecting birds not a bear," Dailey said.
Dailey said she quickly grabbed her video camera.
"My one daughter said, 'He looks so cute sitting there.' She wanted to come out and have breakfast with him. But of course he is a wild bear," Dailey said.
Even though the bear looks calm and cuddly, wildlife officials warn never to approach or get close to a bear. Officials said bears try to avoid humans, and that's exactly what this bear did.
"When he caught site of us, he just got up and walked off into the woods back behind our garage," Dailey said.
If you see news happening or there's a bear in your yard, snap a picture or shoot some video and upload it on our iWitness 11 page.
