Evangelist Billy Graham to lie in honor in US Capitol rotunda

WASHINGTON — The Rev. Billy Graham, who died Wednesday at the age of 99, will lie in honor in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda so the public can pay their respects.

House Speaker Paul Ryan announced Thursday that Graham’s body will be brought to the Capitol Feb. 28, where it will lie in honor until March 1.

When Graham’s casket arrives at the Capitol, Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell will take part in a bicameral service, according to a news release from Ryan.
