PITTSBURGH — A pair of new snowy owls went on exhibit at the National Aviary Thursday.
Two-year-old “Tundra” and five-year-old “Glacier” made their public debut at the aviary this week.

This is the first time snowy owls have been on exhibit at the National Aviary in over ten years.

“Snowy owls are usually found around the Arctic Circle but can even come down as far as Pennsylvania,” said Cathy Schlott, curator of behavioral management.
