Man killed in overnight pedestrian accident in front of Blush Gentleman's Club

PITTSBURGH — A man from Canada was killed in a pedestrian accident in downtown Pittsburgh.

It happened in front of Blush Gentleman's Club on 9th Street just before 2:30 a.m.

Police say 42-year-old Stephen Antenucci of Burlington, Ontario, Canada was struck as he crossed the street.  He was in the middle of the block and there was not a crosswalk, police said.

Police say the 26 year old driver was not hurt and stayed on the scene.  No charges were filed against the driver, police said.

The victim died at Allegheny General Hospital, according to the medical examiner's office.

9th Street between Penn Avenue and Fort Duquesne Boulevard was blocked during the investigation.
