OneJet launched its inaugural flight on April 6. Then on Monday, the airline kicked off its Pittsburgh service with an inbound flight from Milwaukee.

The jet, a six-seat Hawker 400, will be offered four times weekly between Monday and Thursday, once per day.

“What the secret sauce here is having the right sized aircraft for this market,” said Matthew Maguire, CEO of OneJet.

OneJet’s goal is to bring nonstop services to medium-sized in the eastern United States, particularly targeting cities that were once hubs.

The flight time from Pittsburgh to both Milwaukee and Indianapolis is a little over an hour.

With OneJet’s flights, Pittsburgh International Airport now has 50 nonstop flight destinations.
