The program provides assistance to low-income Pennsylvanians for home heating bills during the winter months.

"We encourage anyone who still needs help with heating costs to apply in these final days of the LIHEAP season," said Department of Human Services Secretary Ted Dallas in a release.

The program helped heat approximately 400,000 Pennsylvania homes this past winter.

The assistance is available to renters and homeowners.
