PITTSBURGH — The host of the University of Pittsburgh’s late night talk show is challenging NBC’s “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon to a Primanti’s sandwich-eating contest.

If Jesse Irwin, the host of “Pitt Tonight,” wins, Fallon must use a Pitt Tonight on one of his shows. If Fallon wins, Irwin will bathe in French fries and coleslaw.

“Pitt Tonight” is a monthly student-run live broadcast.
