The 26-year-old signed an extension worth nearly $42 million in new money when he had one year remaining on his rookie deal.
Brown has collected $19.5 million over the past three years. He’s due $6 million this season, $8.25 million in 2016 and $8.71 million in 2017 -- a total of $22.96 million in non-guaranteed money.
According to NBC's Pro Football Talk, Brown has caught 239 passes for 3,197 yards and 21 touchdowns for the Steelers while playing in every game and adding two more touchdowns as a punt returner.
