PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers will officially kick off the 2015 season when the team reports to training camp on July 25 at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe. The first open practice to the public is scheduled for July 26.

This will be the 50th year the Steelers will train at Saint Vincent College. The team unveiled a special logo to be used this season. CLICK HERE for more details.

On Wednesday, the Steelers announced plans for a 50th anniversary celebration on July 26.

The festivities begin at noon -- and activities include the Steelers Experience, live music and a youth football tribute.

Fans will have opportunities to win daily prizes, including $50 Steelers Pro Shop gift cards and special pre and post-practice VIP experiences.

Prior to practice, Steelers’ play-by-play announcer Bill Hillgrove will host a special on field ceremony that will feature Steelers President Art Rooney II, Chairman Dan Rooney, Steelers alumni from each decade and Saint Vincent College Dignitaries.

In addition, Pittsburgh native and former contestant on "The Voice," Chris Jamison, will sing the National Anthem as the 28th Infantry Division of the Pa. National Guard presents our nation's colors.

Practice is scheduled to start at 2:55 p.m. Following practice there will be a special Steelers Nation Unite VIP experience.

Fans arriving early can attend Black and Gold service, which takes place at the Saint Vincent church starting at 11:30 a.m.

DIRECTIONS TO SAINT VINCENT COLLEGE

From the Pittsburgh International Airport and Pittsburgh area:

Follow signs to Pittsburgh and travel on I-376 East towards Pittsburgh for 17 miles through the Fort Pitt Tunnel. (if traveling from the airport.) Stay in the right lane and follow I-376 East (Parkway East) for approximately 18 miles to the PA Turnpike exit in Monroeville Milepost #56. Travel east on the PA Turnpike (I-76) to Milepost #67 Irwin. Upon exiting, bear right and follow Route 30 East to Latrobe for approximately 15 miles. Once you pass Westmoreland Mall, Saint Vincent College is approximately 3-4 miles east of that landmark. Make a left hand turn at the traffic light at Saint Vincent Drive to the entrance of Saint Vincent College from Route 30 East. Proceed 1/2 mile, and turn left onto campus. Approximate travel time is one hour 30 minutes from Airport.

From Harrisburg, Philadelphia, New Jersey and points east:

Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike, I-76 West, to exit 91 (old exit 9) Donegal, take Pennsylvania Route 711 North to junction with U.S. Route 30 in Ligonier, take Route 30 West 10.4 miles to the stop light at Saint Vincent Drive, turn right onto Fraser Purchase Road (unmarked), go 1/2 mile, and turn left onto campus.

From Erie, Buffalo and points north:

Take Interstate 79 south to its junction with I-76, the Pennsylvania Turnpike, at gate 28 (old gate 3) Cranberry/Perry Highway. Take I-76 east to exit 67 (old exit 7) Irwin/North Huntingdon, bear right at the exit ramp and take U.S. Route 30 East 15 miles. At the stop light at Saint Vincent Drive, turn left onto Fraser Purchase Road (unmarked), go 1/2 mile, and turn left onto campus.

From Baltimore, Washington and points south:

Take Interstate 70 west to its junction with I-76, the Pennsylvania Turnpike, at gate 161 (old gate 12) Breezewood, proceed on I-76 west to exit 91 (old exit 9) Donegal, take Pennsylvania Route 711 North to its junction with U.S. Route 30 in Ligonier, take Route 30 West 10.4 miles to the stop light at Saint Vincent Drive, turn right onto Fraser Purchase Road (unmarked), go 1/2 mile and turn left onto campus.

PARKING

Parking is free to all fans and located in the fields adjacent to the camp entrance. Handicap parking is available near the entrance--see a parking lot attendant upon arrival.
