“I start with an idea,” Baxter said.
From there, Baxter draws up sketches of things he’d like to make, and then he’ll eventually make them.
Despite being the sole proprietor of the Kreepy Doll Factory, Baxter doesn’t believe his dolls are creepy at all.
“People always say they’re creepy,” Baxter said. “They’re cute and I’ll say, but the cute doll factory sounds really dumb.”
Baxter makes the dolls with recycled materials, which has left him with an unlimited supply of materials.
His unlimited supply of materials is only matched with an unlimited supply of ideas.
“I always say they are all different, just like everybody is different,” Baxter said.
After over a decade of creating these dolls, the ideas just keep coming for Baxter.
From one man’s hands in Pittsburgh, these Kreepy Dolls have been found all over the world.
