PITTSBURGH — If there were any doubt that spring has finally arrived in Pittsburgh, Point State Park unofficially ended that when they activated their water fountain downtown on Friday morning.

The fountain was started around 7 a.m. Friday morning.
“Every year, people call it the unofficial start of spring,” said Nicholas Sulzer, interim park manager at Point State Park.
The Point State Park fountain will remain activated throughout the summer months.
