Police ask for information on home invasion, shooting in Braddock

BRADDOCK, Pa. — Allegheny County police are asking for information from the public on a home invasion and shooting in Braddock.

It happened Tuesday at 10:15 p.m. on June Way.

According to the police report, three men wearing dark hoodies over their heads knocked on the door of the home.

When someone inside opened the door, the three men rushed inside. Two of them were carrying handguns.

The report said two residents, a man and a woman, were forced onto the ground.

The suspects stole $100 from the man, and as they were leaving, one of them turned back and shot the man in the leg, the report said.

The shooting victim was treated and released from the hospital.
