PITTSBURGH,None — Police said a chase ended when the driver involved crashed into a wall at the Zone 5 police station.
Channel 11's Julie Fine reported that the driver crashed into the Fallen Officers wall that welcomes people to the police station.
Investigators said the pursuit began when officers tried stopping the driver in Lincoln-Lemington on suspicion of being involved in a drug deal. Police said after the crash, the driver tried fleeing on foot.
Officers said they chased the man down and took him into custody. Channel 11 News was there as the man was put into an ambulance and taken to the hospital. Police said the driver is expected to be OK and will face several charges.
