SHARON, Pa. — Police are investigating the death of a man in Sharon, Mercer County.
The Mercer County Coroner says the Sharon Police Department responded to a trespassing complaint at a home on New Castle Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Monday.
There, a man identified as Edward Reedy, 35, of Sharpsville, was found unresponsive with a head wound. He was taken to a hospital by ambulance, where he was pronounced dead.
The coroner has not yet determined Reedy’s cause and manner of death because the events leading up to his death are unclear. Officals have not determined if the head wound was directly related to his death.
An autopsy has been scheduled on Wednesday by a pathologist at the Erie County Coroner’s Office. Reedy’s manner and cause of death will be released following the determination of the autopsy.
