PITTSBURGH,None — Etna and Shaler Township police said a Pittsburgh woman pocketed $800 meant for a fundraiser for Shaler Area Middle School.
Police said Ronda Wolfe obtained a fundraiser form and started selling candy in neighborhoods in the neighboring communities.
Customers thought they were helping students raise money for a school project, investigators said. Instead, police said, Wolfe never turned in her form, kept the money and did not deliver candy.
Police said Wolfe faces several theft charges.
