PITTSBURGH — Primanti Brothers is now offering two all-new sandwiches to celebrate and honor Oktoberfest!
Starting Wednesday, the iconic Pittsburgh restaurant and bar will offer The Bavarian and The Viennese.

The Bavarian features Yuengling-braised Silver Star bratwurst, Muenster cheese, Primanti Bros.’ spice beer mustard and, of course, is piled high with fries, slaw and tomato.
The Viennese features breaded pork schnitzel, Muenster cheese, Primanti Bros.’ spicy beer mustard, fries, slaw and tomato.
“Honestly, I didn’t even know Oktoberfest started in September,” said Toni Haggerty, General Manager of Primanti Bros. in Pittsburgh’s Strip District. “I came from Italy, but if this is the way the German’s do it -- it’s good enough for me.”
Both sandwiches will only be available for a limited time, through October.
