Quaker Valley High School Evacuated After Bomb Threat

LEETSDALE, Pa.,None — Students at Quaker Valley High School were evacuated Tuesday afternoon after school officials discovered a bomb threat written in a school bathroom.

In a letter posted on the school's website, school officials said, "To ensure the safety of our students and staff during a potentially dangerous situation, the high school is being evacuated while the authorities can investigate an alleged bomb threat. All situations like this are taken seriously."

Officials said all students and teachers were relocated to Quaker Valley Middle School. Police searched the school and did not find a bomb.

Leetsdale Police are investigating.
