VESTABURG, Pa.,None — Route 88 in East Bethlehem Township north of Fredericktown near Fishpot Run Road reopened on Thursday after a massive rock slide closed the roadway for weeks.

PennDOT officials said the May 13 slide covered both lanes of the highway. Officials blamed heavy rains for the erosion that led to the slide.
Officials said the road opened ahead of the initial four week estimate.
