PARKER, Pa. — A 15-year-old girl who was reported missing Monday night is safe, according to her family.
An uncle tells Channel 11's Amy Marcinkiewicz that 15-year-old Lexis Walker has returned home.
Channel 11’s Amy Marcinkiewicz reported that the girl was playing horseshoes along Locust Lane in Parker about 9 p.m. Monday, when she threw a horseshoe into the woods and went to look for it.%

Family members told police that Lexis took one of her stepfather’s tools to locate the horseshoe, and hours later, her mother found a note along with her daughter’s cellphone and wallet.
Before the search was called off, more than 45 volunteers from eight different fire departments converged on a four-mile area around the Walker home in Parker. They combed the woods, using ATVS and quads and searched by air.
