PITTSBURGH — One person was arrested Friday morning after a SWAT situation in Pittsburgh’s Polish Hill neighborhood.

Police surrounded a home on Revere Way about 2:30 a.m. after receiving reports of shots being fired into a neighboring home.

An 80-year-old woman who was inside the house told police she was sleeping when she heard a loud bang and breaking glass, and found a bullet hole in her bedroom wall.

Police said they were unable to make contact with a man in the house next door after 10 attempts, and the SWAT team was called.

The situation ended shortly before 5 a.m. when police went inside and arrested 30-year-old Justin McQuade. Animal Control officers removed a dog from the home.

McQuade faces charges of recklessly endangering another person and discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure. Police said they found several bullets near his neighbor's bed.
