Small airplane makes emergency landing at Greene County Fairgrounds

GREENE COUNTY, Pa. — A small airplane made an emergency landing Sunday morning in Greene County, officials said.

The fixed wing plane came to rest about 9:30 a.m. in a grassy area at the Greene County Fairgrounds.

Neither the pilot nor co-pilot, both 71 years old, were injured. The plane hit a large tire during the landing, causing damage to its landing gear.
