PITTSBURGH,None — The Nancy Mosser Casting Agency is looking for stand-ins for the Paramount film, "One Shot," starring Tom Cruise, that will film in Pittsburgh this fall.
The following was included in a release from the agency:
The agency will hold a camera test on Sept. 26 and shooting will begin Oct. 3 and last until Jan. 13. There will be a holiday break from Dec. 17 to Jan. 2. Filming is mostly Monday through Friday but there will be some weekends. You would be needed 12-14 hours per day. There will be day and night shoots. Stand-ins must be completely available during those dates to be considered.
The agency is looking for a Caucasian male between 5'6'' to 5'8'' and under 180 lbs. with brown hair. The agency also needs a Caucasian female between 5'8'' and 5'9.5'' with fair skin. Blonde hair is preferred but can be colored if not. No visible tattoos. Must have your own car. Report times can be early so you can't rely on the bus. Most of the filming will take place around the Pittsburgh area.
If you are interested in being considered, you should send a current photo of yourself from the waist up as well as a full length shot to mossercasting@gmail.com. Pictures should be taken from the front. No profile shots and please do not wear a hat or sunglasses. Please remember to include your name, contact info as well as your height and weight in the email.
So who will you be "standing-in" for? Our guess is Cruise and the female lead, actress Rosamund Pike.
Pike, whose credits include "Pride and Prejudice" and "Die Another Day" will star as a defense lawyer for the serial murderer that "Jack Reacher" (Cruise) wants to take down. The film's title stems from the murderer's weapon of choice: a sniper rifle. Christopher McQuarrie, who won the 1996 best screenwriting Oscar for "The Usual Suspects," is directing.
"One Shot" is based on a novel by Lee Child.
