PITTSBURGH — A mural painted on the outside of a neighborhood Mexican grocery store in Pittsburgh after the wall was vandalized has been targeted again.
Authorities said the hate speech that someone spray-painted on the mural outside Las Palmas in the city’s Brookline neighborhood was discovered Thursday morning.%

Brashear High School students painted the mural on the grocery store after the building was “tagged” last December.
“They're trying to make an honest living, and they're not bothering anybody. So I just don't understand. I was just shocked,” Connie Mazza, who works for a seamstress in the neighborhood, said.
Police said a Mexican restaurant in Pittsburgh’s Beechview neighborhood, which is owned by the same family as Las Palmas, was also targeted in January. Someone threw a rock through the front window.
