PITTSBURGH — A suspected robber’s grandmother called on him to surrender Thursday night as his brother sits behind bars in connection with the same incident.

Police said a woman was robbed at gunpoint last week in Pittsburgh’s Fairywood section. According to the police report, the woman was approached by a man who said, “Shh, give me everything you have,” and then pointed a gun in her face.

The woman's neighbor told Channel 11 News that she heard screaming and saw the woman running. Three people were seen fleeing, police said.

The following night, a pizza driver was confronted the same way two blocks away, the police report said.

Police have arrested 17-year-old Jarrett Fisher Jr., who is charged as an adult in connection with the armed robberies, but they’re still looking for his brother, Shaborne Woods, and a third person.%

Fisher told officers they started robbing people to support their marijuana habit, according to the police report.

While Woods remains on the run, his own grandmother went to police, telling them she had spoken to him and wanted to help turn him in. She told investigators that he doesn’t live far from where the crimes happened.
