JAPAN — More than 10,000 people packed a stadium in central Japan to watch a group of college students mesmerize the crowds with their synchronized precision walking routine.

Team Collective Action from Nippon Sport Science University became massively popular after a YouTube video of their performance went viral in 2012.
The university says they've been doing this since 1966.
The synchronized precision walking routine is similar to military marching exercises, but their performance is far more precise and complicated.
This year, it took the 78 college students more than six months and three days a week to train themselves after classes and get themselves in shape for their fast pace performance.
They estimate, that if you include all their practice days, they have walked about 840 miles in total.
